Former Lab MembersDr. Dawn Eubanks, Senior Lecturer
Dawn's research interests are primarily in the areas of leadership and innovation, with particular interest in destructive leadership, intuition, ethics, and decision-making. Within leadership, she is currently exploring the darker side including reactions to criticism and different types of cognitive leader errors as related to performance outcomes. Innovation research includes a focus upon how to foster this characteristic across a range of contexts. Additionally, she has explored cognitive processes such as intuition and its relationship to creativity. Dr. Lucy Ting, Lecturer
Lucy's research interests within the wider field of marketing are Internet marketing. She is interested in how technology as a communication tool has an impact on consumers’ attitudes and behaviour. Dr. Mina Vasalou, Research Officer
Mina’s area of research is user experience. She has been examining what privacy means to a layperson and how it can be measured without priming participants’ reactions and has been investigating how location aware and mobile systems affect personal and group wellbeing in the context of families. Other research has aimed at teaching users to resolve conflicts through technological interventions, for instance by including richer channels in ecommerce transactions and through serious games for children. Chloe Zhang
Chloe is a PhD student mainly focusing on behaviour indicators of deception, in particular the nonverbal cues to deception. She is also interested in organisation behaviour, leadership and applications of deception cues in the field of organisational behaviour.
